The primary use of our 52 paper friends is after all for card games, which is why they are of course called playing cards. I love card games, and I've even curated a collection of the all-time best in my article: 40+ Great Card Games for All Occasions. But one of my favourite uses for a standard deck of cards is for playing card games. Abd I enjoy using them for things like card flourishing, and especially for card magic. Put a custom deck of traditional playing cards in my hands, and I'm a happy man. Yet it is closely related, because it is all about using our favourite magical tool: playing cards.

This review takes us slightly out of our usual realm of focus of magic.
